XIII: THE DEATH - XIII

Let's say you kill time,
as if the time won't kill us
Having no remedy against death,
you established, to be happy, to never think

Time is a great teacher,
but unfortunately it kills all its students
When you die you have better things to do
than thinking about death

Live as if you were to die tomorrow
Learn as if you were to live forever
Dream as if you were to live forever
Live as if you were to die today

We are born only once, two is not allowed
you, who are not master of your tomorrow,
You delay the date and so life goes waiting
and each of us comes to death without peace

[Life is the childhood of our immortality,
man always dies before it is fully born]

Each man's death diminishes me,
because I share humanity
so never send to ask for whom the bell tolls:
it tolls also for you

Life and death flow into one
and there is neither evolution
nor destiny, only being

When a man dies, his chapter is not torn from book,
but translated with better words
Who thinks, is immortal,
who does not think, dies forever

Change me!

[Life is the childhood of our immortality,
man always dies before it is fully born]

Dream as if you were to live forever
Live as if you were to die today
